Cleaning up of Dojo
All members now bow and shout “OSSU!” and clean the Dojo
(as instructed and supervised by the Sempai’s)

After Soji the Sempai will shout the Commands:

SEI RETSU

(Stand to attention Feet together, hands next to sides)
SEIZA
Sit DownAll members now run to line-up position and sit down on their knees
(same position as start of class, except now they are kneeling)
MOKUSO
Members now sit quietly with eyes closed and do Deep Breathing exercise.
During this time (after about two minutes) the Sempai will stand up, walk to the side,
then walk to the front of the class, bows to the front, turns and bows to the Sensei,
walk three paces towards the Sensei then kneels down (Seiza). He says “Kyo no soji owarimashta.”
He then bows to the Sensei, gets up and steps back three paces, bows to the Sensei,
turns to the front, bows, then walks back to his class position and kneels down/

REGISTRATION BOOK CEREMONY

The Registration Books are now handed to each student by calling them out to collect.
In the order of highest belt rank to lowest belt rank.
If your name is called Shout “OSSU SEMPAI” – and Jump Up and Bow.
Then run to the Sempai, Bow again and hold both your hands out (arms held straight)
Receive your book. Now Shout “ARISHTA” (Thank You).
Run backwards, Bow and take your place in the line you were sitting in.
